Detritus
Detritus is a term that I use to describe the leftover materials that result from my studio process. I co-curated a show that delved into the idea of the artists' studio detritus as something just as important as the artwork itself. After this show opened at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art in 2017, I re-examined my own detritus and have framed a few pieces of detritus that's now available for purchase.
