Interesting solutions abound, I found this to be one of my favorite elements on the Oxbow Map. Two students, separated by a large sea, one state in the US and the other in Canada, decided to build a tram that stretches from one state to the other. That little black box in the foreground is the tram that looks like it travels a few hundred miles a day.
