Pangea Texas Giclee Print
Printed by Hare and Hound Press in Austin, Texas, this is a limited edited giclee print. Pangea was a mega-continent that used to exist and was made up of all the current continents. This is a drawing of a pangea like continent made up of nothing but the State of Texas repeated over and over again. This may seem like a comment on the monoculture thats stereotypically given to Texas, but growing up there, I can attest to a wide diversity of cultures, identities, and people. If anything, the one thing almost all Texans have in common, no matter the varying differences, is a sense of pride for Texas. This piece is a reflection of that diversity tied together by a shared sense of pride.
